Awareness Programme on Cyber Crimes

On 7th January 2025, Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute (KNPI), Lucknow, organized an Awareness Programme on Cyber Crimes in collaboration with the Cyber Crime Cell, Lucknow for students of ANM, GNM & BSc Nursing (2023 & 2024).

Led by Shri. Amit Kumawat, ADCP (IPS), and his team, the event covered critical topics like online fraud, phishing, and digital safety.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. Tejal J. Chaturvedi (Director), Prof. Jenny D (Principal), and Anurag Chauhan (Vice Principal), this initiative empowered students and faculty to navigate the digital world securely.

Krishna Educational Foundation proudly hosted the much-awaited KrishnaRang Sports Week from 13th to 21st December under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI) and Prof. Anurag Chauhan (Vice Principal, KNPI).

Lamp Lighting Ceremony 2024

Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, proudly celebrated its 16th Lamp Lighting Ceremony for the B.Sc. ((N), GNM, and ANM 2024 batch. This momentous occasion marked the formal induction of the 2024 batch into the noble nursing profession.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Ashok Kumar Bishnoi (Dean, ABVMU, Lucknow), and Dr. N. Neetu Devi (Nursing Consultant, UPSMF, Lucknow). Both dignitaries shared their insights, inspiring students to embrace their roles as compassionate caregivers and future healthcare leaders.

The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr. Ashok Kumar Bishnoi, Dr. N. Neetu Devi, Prof. C.M. Jariwala (Trustee, KEF), Dr. Tejal J. Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI), and Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI).

In his address, Dr. Ashok Kumar Bishnoi highlighted the vast opportunities in the nursing field, stating, “India will witness over 30 lakh nursing job openings in the coming years. I urge you to groom yourselves professionally and aim for higher education.”

Dr. N. Neetu Devi encouraged students to uphold the core values of nursing and remain steadfast in their pursuit of healthcare excellence.

The event featured vibrant cultural performances, bringing energy and joy to the solemn ceremony. A total of 120 students took the Florence Nightingale Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to patient care and ethical practices, while over 600 students attended, making it a truly inspiring event.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt song by the students. 


Lamp Lighting Ceremony (B.Sc. 2020)

On November 21st, B.Sc (2020) students of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute hosted the Lamp Lighting Ceremony under the guidance of Prof. Anurag Singh Chauhan (Vice-Principal), and Mrs. Priya Singh (Associate Professor). This ceremony, held in tribute to Florence Nightingale – "The Lady with the Lamp" – marks an auspicious moment in every nurse's journey, symbolizing their formal entry into the profession. The event began with an introduction by Ms. Sandra (Nursing Tutor) and a graceful Ganesh Vandana dance by Shubhangi Pandey (GNM 2024), followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting led by Dr. Tejal J. Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI) and other dignitaries.

Prof. Anurag Singh Chauhan led the students in a pledge, declaring their commitment to compassionate care. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Gargi (Nursing Tutor), leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. 


World Diabetes Day

On 14th November, B.Sc. Nursing 2023 students from Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute celebrated World Diabetes Day with the theme 'Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps' in the village of Sisendi.

The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI), Prof. Anurag Singh Chauhan (Vice-Principal, KNPI), Mrs. Edvina Princy K (Associate Professor), and Ms. Mala Anand (Nursing Tutor).

Students performed a skit to educate the audience on diabetes mellitus, including its causes, signs, symptoms, prevention, and management.


World Immunization Day

World Immunization Day On November 9th, GNM 2024 and B.Sc. 2022 students from Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, organized a campaign in Sisendi village, Mohanlalganj, for World Immunization Day on the theme 'Vaccines for All.'
The students presented an impactful roleplay to raise awareness about the importance of vaccines and immunization within the community. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI), Prof. Anurag Singh Chauhan (Vice Principal, KNPI), and Ms. Monalika (Nursing Tutor, KNPI).

On November 6th, GNM (2021) and ANM (2022) students of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute hosted the Lamp Lighting Ceremony under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D (Principal), Prof. Anurag Singh Chauhan (Vice Principal), and Ms. Karishma Rai (Nursing Tutor). Global Handwashing Day

On October 15th, 2024, the B.Sc. 2nd-year students of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, celebrated Global Handwashing Day at Rising Sun Wisdom School, Mohanlalganj, with the theme 'Why are clean hands still important?' The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI), Mrs. Edvina Princy K (Associate Professor), and Ms. Mala Anand (Nursing Tutor).

The students performed a skit demonstrating the proper handwashing procedure and delivered a speech on the importance of hand hygiene. The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children. 🌍💧  


WORLD FOOD DAY

On October 16th, 2024, B.Sc. 3rd Year students of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, celebrated World Food Day in the village of Sisendi, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. With the theme 'Right to Foods for a Better Life and a Better Future' (to create awareness and encourage groups in the community), the event was held under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D. (Principal, KNPI), Ms. Eshwari K. (Associate Professor), and Ms. Saumya Yadav (Nursing Tutor).

The students performed an impactful role play, promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness about stopping food wastage in the community. Their efforts were well-received, inspiring the community to adopt healthier practices and reduce food waste.


Dussehra - Ravan Making

B.Sc. 1st, 2nd year, and GNM 1st year girl students (hostel) from Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, showcased their creativity and teamwork as they crafted an impressive effigy of Ravan for the Dussehra celebrations on 12th October, 2024.


World Mental Health Day

On October 10th, 2024, students of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, from B.Sc. 1st Year, GNM 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Year, celebrated World Mental Health Day with the theme, "It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace," as stated by WHO. The event, organized under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D. (Principal, KNPI), Mrs. Sadhana Yadav, and Ms. Sandra (Nursing Tutors), began with a lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a mime performance that creatively depicted the struggles associated with mental health.

Dr. Teja J. Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI) delivered an impactful speech on the importance of work-life balance, encouraging students and faculty to prioritize their mental well-being. Prof. Jenny D. (Principal, KNPI), then shared valuable insights on workplace mental health risks and effective ways to manage them. The event concluded with a poster-making competition, where students expressed their understanding of mental health through art, followed by a group photo to commemorate the day.


DANDIYA NIGHT

On 6th October, Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, organized a lively Dandiya Night within the college premises. The evening was filled with joyous dancing, laughter, and unforgettable fun, accompanied by delicious snacks and dinner. It was truly a night to remember, bringing everyone together in a wonderful celebration of culture and festivity! 


Freshers Party 2024

On 29th September, Krishna Educational Foundation organized a fun-filled Fresher's Party for the 2024 batch of ANM, GNM, B.Sc Nursing, BBA, BCA, and B.Com (H), with the support of their seniors and faculty. The event started with a lamp- lighting ceremony, followed by dance performances, songs, games, and the exciting Mr. and Miss Fresher contest. Special guests included Dr. Tejal J. Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI), Dr. Anuraag Chaturvedi (Director, KCEM), Prof. Jenny Cassy (Principal, KNPI), Prof. Niraj Srivastava (Principal, KCEM), and Prof. Anurag Chauhan (Vice Principal).


'Run for Her' Marathon

B.Sc (Nursing), GNM & ANM girl students from Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow participated in the 'Run for Her' Marathon, organized by the PCODestigmatized Foundation in association with Vanshanti Fertility at 1090 Chauraha, Lucknow, on 22nd September 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD), with over 2000 participants.

More than 120 girls from our institute joined the marathon, and we're happy to announce that Shalu Jaiswal (ANM 2023) secured 2nd place, while Khushi (ANM 2023) stood 3rd in the 3km marathon. A proud moment for all!


Ganesh Visarjan

On 17th September 2024, Krishna Educational Foundation celebrated Ganesh Visarjan with great devotion and joy. The event commenced with a pooja, followed by the procession led by Dr. Tejal J Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI), Dr. Anuraag Chaturvedi (Director, KCEM), Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI), Anurag Chauhan (Vice Principal, KNPI), and Prof. Niraj Srivastava (Principal, KCEM). Faculty, staff, and students enthusiastically chanted 'Ganpati Bappa Morya' as they carried Ganpati Ji. The celebration concluded with staff playing with gulaal, marking a colorful and spirited farewell to Lord Ganesha.


WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY

The second-year students of GNM and ANM at Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, organized a campaign in the village of Sisendi, Mohanlalganj, on World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10th, to create awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage dialogue to prevent suicides in the community.

The students performed an impactful role play and delivered motivational slogans to promote healthier living and prevent suicide among the community. The event was guided by Nursing Tutors Mrs. Sadhana Yadav, Ms. Akriti, and Mr. Aviral.


Ganesh Sthapana

Students and Faculty of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute (Hostel) joyfully celebrated Ganesh Sthapana on September 7th, 2024. The Sthapana was performed by Dr. Tejal J Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI), Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI) and Prof. Niraj Srivastava (Principal, KCEM) followed by a pooja, along with students and faculty members. Prasad was distributed, and the doors were opened for all to have darshan of Ganesh Ji.


6-Day Employability Skills Workshop

Krishna Nursing & Paramedical Institute hosted a 6-Day Employability Skills Workshop, organized by NAANDI Foundation and sponsored by Mahindra Pride Classroom. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Tejal J Chaturvedi (Director) and organized under the guidance of Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI).

The workshop was conducted for final-year GNM students, providing them with essential communication skills, life skills, and interview techniques. Students improved their English proficiency, professional communication, and digital identity management. They also learned critical life skills such as goal setting, time management, and professional ethics, alongside interview readiness, project presentation, and group discussion acumen. Mastering these skills will not only enhance their employability but also prepares them to excel in their careers by fostering effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

National Anti-Ragging Awareness Program

On August 29, 2024, Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute hosted a National Anti-Ragging Awareness Program under the guidance of Prof. Anurag Chauhan.

All nursing students actively participated in engaging activities such as a poster-making competition, logo designing contest, welcome dance, short film screening, informative speeches, and skits—all focused on understanding and preventing ragging.

A selfie point was set up to sensitize students to the adverse effects of ragging and added excitement as students captured memories while spreading awareness. The program emphasized the serious mental and physical impacts of ragging and encouraged everyone to work towards a ragging-free campus.


JANMASHTMI

Krishna Educational Foundation celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on August 27th, 2024, with a lamp-lighting ceremony by Dr. Tejal Chaturvedi and Dr. Anuraag Chaturvedi (Directors), Mrs. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI), Mr. Niraj Srivastava (Principal, KCEM), and Prof. Anurag Chauhan (Vice-Principal, KNPI), followed by a heartfelt puja and vibrant cultural events including dance, singing, poetry, and shayari. A day of devotion and joy! 🌸


National Immunization Awareness Week

B.Sc. Nursing (4th year) students of Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, participated in 'National Immunization Awareness Week' on 17 August 2024 at the Multispeciality 300-bedded Tender Palm Hospital.

The program was organized under the expert guidance of Prof. Anurag Singh Chauhan and the Faculty of the Child Health Nursing Department - Ms. Chandani Kumari, Ms. Gargi Shukla, and Ms. Monalika Singh (Nursing Tutors, KNPI). The students showcased their creativity by making informative and visually engaging handmade posters, emphasizing the importance and objectives of immunization, various types, and details about the National Immunization Program.

The event aimed to deepen understanding and raise awareness about the critical role of immunization in public health among the mothers.


Nurses day

Every year on May 12, on the birth date of founder of Nursing – Florence Nightingale, we celebrate Nurses day. Various programs in form of debates, quizzes, themed rangoli and poster competition are organized by students to commemorate this day. The winners are awarded with certificate, medals and prizes.

Lamp Lighting

The Institute every year, in the month of December conducts lamp lighting ceremony for its new students. This ceremony entailsfirst year students lighting candles from common lamp symbolizing the lamp lit by Florence Nightingale, the founder of nursing. The fresher's also take the Florence Nightingale pledge to take nursing as calling, and serve humanity with utmost care and compassion.

Farewell & Fresher's Welcome Program

The student body every year organizes farewell and fresher's welcome programme for its passing out and incoming students.

Annual Sports day

The Institute every year in the month of March organizes Annual Sports Day wherein various outdoor competitive matches are organized. Inter-class cricket tournament, Kabaddi and Badminton matches are organized and watched by entire student and staff. The events are held in the adjoining national K.D. Singh Babu Stadium.
