Post Basic B.Sc. is a two year degree course of two years equivalent to B.Sc Nursing. Candidates, who are interested in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course, should be a GNM (General Nurse). The program upgrades the diploma (GNM) nurses to graduate nurse and prepare them to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people as professional nurses, as well as take on the role of teacher, supervisor or manager in a clinical or public health setting.

The institute started the course in the year 2014 and is affiliated to U.P. State Nursing Council, Lucknow; Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi; and Chattrapati Sahuji Maharaj (CSJM) University, Kanpur. The annual examinations are conducted by the CSJM University.

Eligibility

Candidate must be 10+ 2 passed from Science or Arts and must also have completed GNM program. Upper age limit is 48 years. The candidate should be a registered nurse and midwife with any State Nursing Registration council
